There is a table topic session at each regular Toastmasters meeting.
“Table topics” is the part of the meeting dreaded by many people because it consists of giving an impromptu speech.
Even though it is hard to prepare in advance for the table topic, it is possible to mentally prepare oneself to speak about a certain subject by knowing the evening’s theme.
